Passionate home cooks get a high-stakes, once-in-a-life-time shot at running their own restaurant for one day – with the real Head Chef watching in remotely. The heat is on. A compelling combination of passion, wish fulfillment and food programming, each episode of Home Chef to Pro Chef gives one person the opportunity to fulfill their fantasy of running a restaurant for a day. 
 The head chef of a top-notch establishment will give them a day of training before abandoning them to run dinner service. The TWIST: the chef will be watching remotely to see how the newbie copes, only able to communicate via an iPad. At the end of the show our rookie will be judged by customers who had no idea that the real chef wasn’t in charge. The rookie will either pass or fail. Home Chef to Pro Chef - For the home cooks it will be culinary heaven... or hell.
